Introduction:
As the title shows this project concerned training on Benchmarking methods for evaluating, organizing and implementing improved training procedures. “Benchmarking” includes a set of systematic methods for improving operations, based on measuring, comparing and evaluating processes, and providing afterwards an action plan for the application of new and improved procedures.
“Benchmarking” can be used successfully for the evaluation and design of processes, including training processes, aiming to improve and optimize the results of enterprises and organizations (public or private). The people who are responsible for organizing training in organizations and enterprises should learn and apply such methods, in such a way that they can use them to evaluate, design, organize and implement training procedures/courses for the best application of the acquired skills and knowledge in production and services.
During the implementation of the project 6 training courses of 130 hours each were organized. 3 courses were organized in Athens-Greece by ANTER Ltd., 2 courses were organized in Gabrovo-Bulgaria by Technical University of Gabrovo and 1 course was organized in Bratislava-Slovakia by BIC GROUP s.r.o. Also dissemination activities took place that concerned the presentation of the project and its results.
